PADI Open Water Dive Course (inc. boat dives)
When you purchase a Dive Locker experience you become legally bound by Dive Locker's terms and conditions. Do not proceed to purchase your experience if you do not understand and accept these terms and conditions. COURSESParticipants must be a minimum of 14 years of age to learn to dive in Western Australia. The participant must be able to swim 200m and tread water for 10 minutes unassisted to learn to dive in Western Australia. The participant must complete all course theory including exams (Course manual/text books or eLearning) PRIOR to commencement of your course. Failure to complete theory prior to course commencement will result in removal from the course and a rebooking fee relevant to the course.
MEDICALLY FIT TO DIVEYou must be medically fit to dive and sign a Medical Statement declaration (click here for a copy of the medical statement). Please answer the questions on your past or present medical history with a YES or NO. A copy of the Dive Medical Statement is available by following the link above. You WILL be required to obtain a diving medical if your medical history deems it.
AVAILABILITYAll experiences are offered subject to availability. If you would like to book during peak times (such as weekends or holidays), you should book further in advance. Experiences offered are dependant on minimum numbers. If minimum numbers are not reached an alternate date will be offered for your experience. Please be advised that some experiences display availability dates on the website. These dates are guidelines only and are subject to change. We suggest if you plan to purchase an experience for a date listed at short notice, you contact us to ensure there is still availability before completing the transaction.
If Dive Locker needs to cancel an experience for any reason, you will be notified as soon as possible in order to reschedule a convenient alternate date. Dive Locker will not reimburse any travelling, accommodation or other expenses incurred by you or any other person in the event of a cancellation.
RESTRICTIONSCertain experiences provided by Dive Locker are subject to minimum age, health or other restrictions. These restrictions are outlined on the relevant course information page and also in the email of your booking confirmation. Please read this information carefully. It is your responsibility to understand any restrictions prior to confirming your booking. If you are later forced to cancel due to restrictions, you may be liable for charges to Dive Locker. If you are completing a course and are under the age of 18 years you MUST have a parent or guardian sign all medical, course liability and course instruction forms before commencement.
Please ensure that you allow for your pre-flight surface interval requirements to safely fly after diving. Flying after diving recommendations for dives within the No-Decompression Limits; Single Dives: A minimum pre-flight surface interval of 12 hours is suggested. Repetitive Dives and/or Multi-Day Dives: A minimum pre-flight surface interval of 18 hours is suggested. For Dives requiring decompression stops: A minimum pre-flight surface interval of greater than 18 hours is suggested. Source PADI 2013

2 for 1 Promotion - PADI Open Water Dive Course
- Promotion is valid from 1st July 2022 until 30th September 2022.
- Offer is non transferable.
- Minimum age of 14 years.
- Both participants must commence course on the same day.
- Any act of rescheduling within 7 days of the course commencing will incur a $200 rebooking fee per person.
- The course is run over three consecutive days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
- The course will NOT include boat dives.
- PADI eLearning must be completed in its entirety (including optional RDP section either Imperial OR metric) prior to course commencement date, failure to do so will incur a $200 rebooking fee per person.
- All standard equipment required for the course will be provided excluding: mask, snorkel, fins, boots. These can be hired from Dive Locker Fremantle for $50 for the entire 3 day course per person.
- If rescheduling due to a Positive Covid-19 result, proof must be shown in the form of a PCR test result. Please note if rescheduling due to illness, you must provide a medical certificate as proof of illness. If cancelling less than 48 hours before course commencement, a rebooking fee is still payable..
- At the time of booking you confirm that both participants are medically fit to dive. No refunds will be given should one/or both participant(s) find after booking they are medically unfit to dive.
- Course participants must complete their course no later than Sunday 2/10/2022. Incomplete courses will be subject to a surcharge from 3/10/2022.
